Lecture Series

he UNESCO Chair has established a regular lecture series that brings to the University a wide array of human rights scholars, educators, advocates, and policy makers, to address human rights issues from historical and global perspectives.

Invisible Children

In the spring of 2003, three young Americans left California in search of a story. What they discovered was a tragedy that disgusted and inspired them. They discovered children being kidnapped nightly from their homes and subsequently forced to fight as child soldiers. This film is dedicated to exposing this tragic and amazingly untold story.

Come, and discover the unseen. You will be forever changed.

FREE Screening in CLAS Room 108,

Following the screening will be a discussion with IC Road East Team, a group of dedicated individuals helping to spread awareness of this tragedy.
